NIPPER/TONG TOOLGRIP 15mm

2 pcs -  25 cm long. 15mm wide to fit most tongs/clenchers/nippers. Shrinks down to 8mm. Compared to other grips, these are in one piece and there is no adhesive on the grip, so it doesn’t start to curl up and be sticky after a few uses. It is only 1 mm thick, so the handles will not feel bulky.

Instructions for applying:

Cut the grip to the desired length (it does not shrink in length).

Slide the grip onto the handle where it is to be mounted.

Heat up the grip. Most effective is the use of a heat gun, but it is also possible to use boiling water, or to keep it close to the fire in a forge.

Distribute the heat evenly around the grip until it begins to shrink. Continue with an even heat until the grip has shrunk so much that it is stuck in place.

Be careful not to overheat, as this may damage the product and then it will not be possible to shrink it evenly onto the handle.
